Second Stop on the trip

I am so sorry that it has been so long since I blogged last, but I am finally get some alone time at an internet cafe to inform you on what has been going on here in the Philippines. First off let me start with travel day here. Travel was very exhausting but after 4 flight and 48 hours of traveling we arrived in Manila. As soon as we landed my excitement was threw the roof. The day after we got here I got to meet our contact. Emily has a ministries called journey for hope. She works with boys and girls that don’t have much money to eat and get to school. So we help her out a lot because she has a lot on her plate she has her own travel agencies and she has two kids so she is very busy. A day here is like this, we wake up and we go to the community that the kids are from and hang out there till 11, then its lunch time and we hang out at the house till about 3 because people in this culture take naps in the afternoon ( which I love) anyways we go back to the community and talk to the older people or just hang with the kids at there house. We head home around 5 for dinner, the kids usually come with us. Every night we play with the kids, help them with homework, and have devotion. They love to sing praises to God and they sing with so much passion its amazing. This place is amazing and the kids are awesome. Once again God knows my love for soccer and here I am getting to coach the boys in tournaments and games every Saturday. This place is amazing and God is doing so much work here it is incredible!!
